Meet Loki!

Loki is a 6 year old neutered male.  He is a total sweetie!  Loki has a long story.  Lets start at the beginning.

When Loki was a tiny baby, he was found by college kids on the grounds of F&M campus.  The students took him in and hid him in their dorm for several months.  Loki was eventually discovered by campus security during a check of the dorms after a gas leak.  The students were told to 'get rid of him' by administration.

Loki was surrendered to our rescue when he was about 6 months old.  We got him his routine vet care, and placed him into a foster him.  In his foster home he met lots of kitties, dogs, and all sorts of people.  He was a class clown, being a silly and goofy teenage boy.  He loved to get into things and play with toys.  He was a climber and was always leaping from one cat tree to the next!  He lived with his foster family for a month, and loved every moment!  He was always playing with a kitty foster sibling or chasing the family dog.  He was adopted by a family when he was 7 months old.

Loki lived with a family happily for 5 years.  He loved being the center of attention and being the king of his castle.  Then, his family brought home 3 new kittens all at once, and turned his world upside down.  Loki didn't get the attention he was used to having, and started acting up for attention.  He would pick on the new kittens because he knew it would get his owners attention.  Unfortunately, it wasn't good attention.

Loki came back to our rescue a little jumpy and frightened, but still the sweet boy we remembered.  He is the "life of the party" and greets everyone who comes into his foster home excitedly.  He loves to meet new people!  His foster home has 3 other kitties, and he gets along great with them all.  His foster siblings include a goofy senior boy who is the big boss at the house, a feisty 1 year old girl kitty with an major attitude, and a crazy 5 month old kitten.  He does great with all of them and LOVES the youngest kitten.  He has grown up to be a very respectable, calm, sweet boy.  He still likes to play, but has settled down and doesn't get up to mischief like he used to.  He loves to snuggle and still likes to chase toys!

Loki is a real sweetie.  He sleeps on his foster parent's bed every night and loves to cuddle on the couch.  He likes to play chase with his foster siblings and love to wrestle with them.  He has had no trouble getting along with the kitties in his foster home.

We think Loki is a great boy, and he will make a great kitty for a family with kids, as he so loves to be the center of attention.  He would love to be spoiled by some kids!

He would do well as an only kitty with someone to spoil him!

Loki can be met by appointment at the fruitville pk petsmart on Saturday afternoons.  If you apply and are pre-approved, we could also bring him to your home for a chance to see his true personality shine!
