Jessie is a sweet, exotic-looking Abyssinian mix. She is young -- approximately 2 years old. Jessie was severely neglected and underweight when we got her and now she is doing all she can to make up for lost love and food.. She uses her litter box faithfully and has never had an accident. She knows her name and responds to your call.

Jessie loves people and will follow you around the house, chattering. She is very vocal, but her voice is soft – she likes to keep a running commentary of chatters going when she’s busy and purrs constantly when she’s relaxed and being petted.

Jessie is extremely affectionate, and will sprawl out on top of you on the couch and purr herself to sleep. When you're not available as a cat pillow, she will sleep as close to you as she can get.

Abyssinians are very athletic, and Jessie can jump very high.  She is fine with children and has no fear of dogs. She very much enjoys the company of other cats, but her primary focus is finding a loving human who will give her lots of love and attention. If you are looking for an “in your face” cat who follows you around, sits in your lap, tries to lie on your computer keyboard while you type, and demands a spot in your heart, Jessie is the girl for you.
