Hi everybody! My name is Rocky - I was born in a barn in Lancaster County and grew up there on the farm. I was a bit wild in those days, and didn't trust people very much - I remember mom would feed us in the barn, but I didn't let her get too close.
Well - then things changed - I guess I was about 7-10 months old with IT happened. I don't remember much - but I was checking out the garden one night and WHAMO! A HUGE NOISY MONSTER ATTACKED ME! Everything hurt - it hurt to breathe - and then everything went dark.
The next couple of days were hazy - I remember being very weak and everything still hurt - but I could breathe better - some nice people at a hospital fed me with a wooden spoon/stick - then Mom took me home to a comfy little bed in a quiet room. She spoon fed me a little, and I regained my strength, then one day she opened a can of Tuna and I had my first meal on my own after the accident! It was yummy! I got used to inside living real quick - It was real nice having a comfy warm bed and lots of food whenever I wanted it! I loved playing with my foster brother Fluffers, and I got used to Mom touching me and loving me, and I am really glad to be here with her... the only problem is that she has lots of other kitties too and she really can't keep us all. So she thinks I would do well with another gentle loving family - so here I am looking for a forever home - Can I be yours?
Rocky was hit by a car that night on the farm and was taken to an emergency clinic, then hospitalized and treated at Manhiem Pike Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Rovner did an excellent job at putting Rocky back together, he had several broken ribs and a busted diaphram and his jaw had to be wired back together. He is lucky to be alive.
Note: Rocky has fully recovered from the accident with no reprocussions or scars other than a slight wrinkle in his jawline.
I love Rocky, and wish I could keep him, but I cannot keep them all! Please consider giving Rocky a loving forever home!
